Supervision & Consultation
Supervision and Consultation services are available as in-person sessions in Perth or Carleton Place. Virtual sessions are available across Ontario
What is Supervision and Consultation?
Our Supervision and Consultation services have been designed to meet the needs of each individual practitioner, honoring the lens from which they practice through. When we thrive, our clients, families, and communities also thrive. Expanding our professional circle of support is necessary for us to continue to practice in healthy and sustainable ways.
In fact, we feel it is even more imperative that we do our own inner work and seek clinical support, so that we may provide safe spaces for our clients to heal from trauma, cultivate change and foster connection.
Aruma’s Supervision and Consultation services are for mental and emotional wellness practitioners who are seeking any of the following:
- Clinical supervision sessions as a requirement or for professional support.
- Continuing on their own individual path towards healing and growth.
- Learning how to navigate the business side of private practice.
- Creating and maintaining professional boundaries.
“Success as a therapist is not found in doing something for the client, but rather in being someone for the client.” ~ Ili Rivera Walter
Supervision
Veronica Felizardo is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor, and is currently completing her Doctorate degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. She meets the supervisor criteria for
most regulatory counselling professions, and provides in person and virtual clinical supervision sessions.
Veronica establishes a formal process of support, reflection, learning and development that is of benefit
to both newly registered and experienced mental and emotional wellness practitioners.
Veronica specializes in helping practitioners navigate ethical challenges, work through complex cases,
and can provide trainings to those wishing to advance their knowledge of psychotherapy.
Sessions are offered in-person or virtually to Registered or Qualifying Psychotherapists or Counsellors. Please email us to schedule a Clinical Supervision session with Veronica or with any questions regarding her services.
Consultation
Haley Bowes is a Registered Social Worker, Certified Somatic Trauma Therapist, Entrepreneur, and a therapist for therapists.
She feels strongly that holding a degree or certification does not exempt Mental and Emotional Wellness Practitioners from their responsibility to heal, grow and evolve.
Haley believes that witnessing another’s vulnerability, honoring where they are at on their path, and remaining protective of what they need in each moment is a craft that requires an immense amount of self-awareness and care.
It is up to us, as practitioners, to maintain balance so that we can prevent our life’s work from negatively impacting our relationship with ourselves and others.
Sessions are offered in-person or virtually to practitioners working in the mental and emotional wellness field, energy healers, and bodyworkers, seeking to expand as humans and helpers. Please email us to schedule a Consultation session with Haley or with any questions regarding her services.
