Lori brings light, professionalism, and compassion to the Aruma team. She is a Registered Psychotherapist, with experience in Child and Play Therapy, and Family and/or Individual Counselling.
Her areas of focus include play and art therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, sand tray therapy, Theraplay (Attachment-based therapy), trauma assessment and intervention, grief counselling, social skills training, and family therapy.
Lori is experienced in working with individuals who are experiencing or have experienced childhood behavioural problems, sexual abuse, physical abuse, ADHD, mental health disorders, parent-adolescent relationship issues, learning problems, and communication concerns, anxiety and/or depression. She specializes in crisis intervention and parent training.
