Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher with 500 hours of training; 20 hour certification in Trauma Sensitive Yoga.

Yoga came into Charlotte's life when she was sitting at a desk all day working in a high pace busy office and badly needing to work out the stiffness and calm her mind. She eventually gave up the lunches for a noon hour yoga class. Charlotte's passion for yoga lead her to want to teach others about how this practice will benefit your body, mind and soul. Her style of teaching uses a balance of demonstrating, assisting with poses, and motivating
the class. She focuses on breath, meditation, flowing the body gently, and at same time having fun and coming to your edge to get the full benefits of your yoga practice. Charlotte has been teaching yoga regularly for the past 8 years in the Ottawa Valley and internationally at resorts in Mexico, Jamaica, Belize, and Croatia. She's passionate about showing others that there are accessible tools available to live a healthy and happy life.

Charlotte believes in mastering life in such a way that you live to your full potential and have fun along the journey. She really enjoys the peace and tranquility of travelling as its during these times that you get to know your authentic self. She has been a competitive equestrian rider, worked in the the financial industry for 25 years, and enjoys yoga and hikes in nature. Charlotte's favourite possessions are her bicycle and her camera. Her next adventure is leading a Yoga and Sail group along the coast of Greece in September 2020!
