Melissa Simpson


Mental health is a continuum that starts when we are born. It is something to be nurtured and nourished. We are all on a journey and my passion is to encourage others to grow.

Melissa is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and an Elementary School Teacher (OCT).

She specializes in childhood trauma and development, pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum.

Her style can be described as approachable, professional,
evidence-based, and healing.
She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Education Degree from Queen’s University.

Her therapeutic approach is rooted in Child Development, Attachment, Solution-Focused, Somatic, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapies.
