Jessie-Titterton-Horizontal-2026

Jessie brings an integrative and compassionate approach to therapy, shaped by her background in nursing and mental health care. With a strong understanding of the nervous system, stress physiology, physical health, and psychotropic medications, she supports clients through both the emotional and biological aspects of healing.

She has extensive experience working with individuals living with serious and persistent mental health challenges — including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and concurrent disorders — as well as the families who support them. Having navigated her own experiences with burnout and compassion fatigue, Jessie holds a special interest in supporting caregivers and professionals seeking reconnection and sustainable wellbeing.

Jessie also worked for four years as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, developing deep insight into the needs of survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault. She is committed to creating a trauma-informed, culturally safe, and 2SLGBTQI+ inclusive space where clients feel respected, supported, and secure.

Expect

Jessie offers a grounded, collaborative space where clients can explore their experiences with curiosity and compassion. Her work blends the nursing process, nervous-system awareness, practical tools, and reflective conversation to support meaningful and lasting change.

Sessions move at a pace that feels safe and supportive, helping clients better understand patterns, build resilience, and reconnect with themselves.

Things She Believes In

  • Healing happens through safe relationships

  • Mind and body are deeply connected

  • Awareness creates space for change

  • Treatment should adapt to the person, not the other way around

  • Every person is a whole, not a collection of symptoms

  • Resilience and the capacity for growth are inherent in us all

Off the Clock

Outside of work, Jessie values rest, connection, and the practices that help her stay grounded – experiences that continue to shape her compassionate and human approach to care. She enjoys spending time in nature, particularly by the water (provided the humidity isn’t too high). You can also find her curled up with her cat and a warm beverage, with a steady rotation of British television.
