Dianne McLean

BSW, MSW, RSW

Provides services in Perth, Carleton Place, and virtually

Dianne is a Registered Social worker with a grounded approach to mental health care. With over 15 years of experience, she supports individuals navigating complex mental health challenges, offering space for healing, insight, and growth. Dianne believes in creating space for people to uncover and express who they truly are—without shame, fear, or pressure to mask.

Her clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, grief, self-worth, and relationship issues. She provides both individual and relationship counselling, helping people explore connection, communication, boundaries, and repair in a supportive, respectful space.

Dianne draws from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and
Internal Family Systems (IFS)—blending evidence-based methods with a holistic lens.

She shows up with calm, curiosity, and just the right dose of quirk. Her presence is steady, compassionate, and rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to be heard, supported, and empowered—especially in their relationships with others and with themselves.

Off the Clock

Outside of her clinical work, Dianne enjoys simple comforts such as spending time with her cats, catching up with loved ones, and sipping a well-made latte. She appreciates dry humour, cozy evenings, and the familiar charm of a Downton Abbey
rewatch. Grounded and thoughtfully unique, Dianne brings the same warmth and authenticity to her personal life that she offers in her work.
