Marli Nicol
Registered Psychotherapist
Provides services in Carleton Place, and virtually
Marli creates a gentle, compassionate space for teens and adults to explore healing from trauma, gender-based violence, and intimate partner violence. She understands that trauma lives in both mind and body, and that real healing comes when we honor the wisdom of our nervous system and our lived experience.
As a Registered Psychotherapist and 500-hour yoga instructor, Marli weaves somatic practices, breathwork, and mindfulness with evidence-based therapies, including EMDR, Brainspotting, Somatic Experiencing, and Trauma-Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Her approach invites clients to reconnect with their bodies, cultivate self-compassion, and rediscover a sense of agency and inner calm.
Marli’s approach is collaborative and client-centred, creating a safe environment where you can explore your experiences at your own pace.
