Megan Smith

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Megan is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

She is currently completing her Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

She holds an Honours Bachelor degree in Early Learning and Community Development from Algonquin College and has special interest in child development and epigenetics.

Megan blends effective evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) with humanistic modalities. Her approach is individualized, tailored to the unique needs of her clients. She continuously strives to build and maintain supportive relationships with her clients; while providing a safe, warm, and non-
judgmental space. By channeling their inner strengths, resilience, and resourcefulness, Megan can support clients in achieving their goals.

Megan believes that we must become active participants in our own healing. Through learning about ourselves and intentionally doing the work, we realize what we are capable of. Ultimately, this leads to more information and power as we build meaningful connections with others and learn to live more authentically.
